ABOUT MY TOWN

My name is Uxue. I live in Tolosa. Tolosa is in Spain, in the Basque Country. It is a very beautiful town. In Tolosa there are a lot of mountains, for example Uzturre. There aren’t any zoos and palaces. There are many parks, markets, churches, shops, libraries, bridges and schools. There is a bullring and a sport centre, the name is Usabal. The river in Tolosa is Oria River. The carnival in Tolosa is famous. The typical foods are “tejas” and “cigarillos”, chops and beans. And the typical sport is Basque “pelota”.
